We are gradually increasing our range of salvias that are best for Queensland and Northern New South wales We only plant out small batches of each variety to keep the ranges changing and fresh.
Salvias are generally resistant to pests and diseases, and tolerate very dry periods. Their beautiful range of flowers throughout the different seasons make them a great asset in any cottage style garden. Many salvias are vigorous growers and need regular pruning to keep them compact. Replace your salvias every few years as they can get too woody to give the best flowering.
